Change Management™ 3rd Edition Foundation and Practitioner Virtual

Why should I take the Change Management 3rd Edition Foundation and Practitioner Virtual course?

In this course, you will be introduced to change management theory and techniques. You will explore and consider which of these could be effectively implemented in your organization and you will focus on how to apply and tailor change management guidance in any given organizational change situation. A successful Practitioner candidate should be able to start applying the change management approaches and techniques to a real change initiative .

Dealing effectively with change is a high priority for organizations today. The APMG-International Change Management™ Certification has been developed by APMG in partnership with the Change Management Institute (CMI), an independent, global professional association of change managers. They have developed a professional ‘body of knowledge” for the discipline of change management, which provides an independent benchmark for the professional knowledge expected of an effective change manager.

Virtual classroom training allows you to benefit from real-time teaching in the comfort of your home or office. You get the same interactions as an on site course and will be able to ask questions to the instructor. Since the exams are not done on paper during the class but online, you will also benefit with time to study and prepare until you are ready to get the certification.

What is the difference between APMG Change Management vs Prosci?

These two courses are more complementary than competitors. APMG Change Management is strong on theory and the body of knowledge; the “why” and “what”. Prosci is strong on practice and application; the “how”. If both courses are taken they would offer valuable, additive learning for the change management professional.

The APMG course is a broad high-level introduction of theory and ideas about change management; suitable for someone starting in the field or a self-taught manager looking for some new ideas and thinking tools to improve their approach to the complex problems in change. Prosci course is ideal for someone who is facing a change situation and wants to know what to do and when; it is about the process of change in the organisation and for individuals.

How does the virtual class work?

You connect to the online platform and the instructor will deliver the course to you wherever you are. We ask that you keep your camera open as much as possible so that the trainer can get a good sense of how learning is evolving. Some time periods will be allocated for questions, interactive exercises, lunch and breaks.

I am not sure my computer is up to date for the online exam?

You can use the contact form to send us a message in advance. We will be able to verify if your computer meets the technical requirements.

What is the process for a proctored exam?

The exam authority has a strict procedure for online exams to ensure the security of the session. Some of them are:

You will be asked to be alone in a well-lit room with no background noise. The proctor will ask you to rotate your webcam in order to verify the area. Your desk must be clean of papers, books or notes. Glass walls and/or doors are prohibited unless they are covered. You will be asked to position yourself in a way that doors are behind you and visible to the proctor through the webcam.

You can use the contact form to send us a message in advance if you wish to obtain more information on the remote proctoring process.
