By browsing and using this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Okazy Consulting’s relationship with you in relation to this website. The term Okazy Consulting or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to : Okazy Consulting Inc., an ATO (Authorized Training Organization) whose enterprise number is: 1169183556 Registered in: Quebec, Canada. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

Training Course Terms and Conditions

Bookings

Quotations must be signed or agreed by email in order to confirm registration to the course.

Payment Terms

An invoice will be issued prior to the course. Full payment is required, and payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date or 10 working days prior to the course commencement date, whichever is earlier. Should the booking be made within 10 working days of the course commencement date, then payment must be made immediately. The payment for e-learning courses must be made immediately as well. Attendance on a course may be refused if full payment has not been received. The participant agrees to meet all bank, transaction and conversion charges to pay the full invoice amount, in Canadian Dollars (CAD).  Applicable provincial taxes will be applied to published course fees.

We accept credit card payments (MasterCard, Visa, Amex), wire transfers and cheques.

Cancellations

Participant cancellations will be refunded as follows:

  • Greater than 15 working days prior to the course - Full refund
  • Between 6 and 15 working days prior to the course - 75% of the original invoice value.
  • 7 or less calendar days before the course – 50% of the original invoice value.

In the event of any cancellation for a client-specific course, the client must pay any costs for which Okazy Consulting Inc. is liable to third party suppliers, for example facilities, equipment or catering.

Okazy Consulting Inc. reserve the right to cancel a course at short notice. If this should occur, participants will be offered a full refund or a place on our next available scheduled course, or alternative dates where it is a client-specific course. Refund will occur only when material provided by Okazy Consulting Inc. prior to the course has been returned by courier.

Rescheduling

Participants may reschedule to another public scheduled course at no charge.

Substitution

Participants may substitute themselves on a course at no charge but must take full responsibility for ensuring that all course documentation is passed on and that the new Participant meets the relevant pre-requisites for the course.

E-Learning

If you have bought an e-learning licence or blended learning course with an online exam, you will be sent an exam code to redeem once you are ready to sit the online exam. (webcam required) Your exam voucher will be valid for one year. Please contact us at least 48 hours in advance when you are ready to take an online exam.

The access license included with an e-learning course has a validity period of one (1) year and may be extended for an additional fee. Exam(s) included with an e-learning course have a validity period of one (1) year after purchase date and must be taken within that period.

Online Exam

All PeopleCert or APMG Online Exam voucher codes are valid for one (1) year.

You can reschedule the exam as many times as you like but please take note that some fees may apply:

  • More than 48h prior to the exam: free
  • 48h-4h prior to the exam: $50 USD
  • 4h or less prior to the exam: $100 USD

The exam must be scheduled and completed within 1 year of receipt of exam code (voucher) or registration email

Prerequisites

Participants agree to carry out the pre-course reading and homework required to successfully complete the course. Where pre-requisite qualifications are required, for example when re-certifying or upgrading, the participant acknowledges they have gained the required certification to make them eligible for this course.

Liability

Okazy Consulting Inc. cannot accept any liability for any actions whatsoever of course participants.

Employment

Any person introduced to the participant by Okazy Consulting Inc. who is subsequently employed either on a temporary or permanent basis by the participant or any company that the participant introduces, within a period of two years of the initial introduction date renders the participant liable to pay an introduction fee to Okazy Consulting Inc. of an amount equivalent to 20% of the first year’s salary.

Intellectual Property

During the course you will receive copies of material which is copyright to Okazy Consulting Inc. You agree not to share, copy, store or reproduce this material by any means without written authorization from Okazy Consulting Inc.

All Intellectual Property Rights in or arising out of or in connection with the Products and Services shall be owned by Okazy Consulting Inc. The Customer acknowledges that it shall have no rights in or to the Intellectual Property Rights, and that all rights in and to the Property and Services belong

exclusively to Okazy Consulting Inc.  and our licensors and that the Customer shall have no right

in or to them other than to the right to use them.

Course Materials

Course materials will be dispatched by courier. Proof of delivery is proof of receipt and acceptance of the costs of all course materials. Evidence provided by a courier shall be a valid proof of delivery. All materials supplied remain the property of Okazy Consulting until payment is received in full. Copyright exists on all materials supplied in any form. No part of any material supplied to customers may be reproduced in any form without the written permission of Okazy Consulting Inc.
