About The Course
Facilitation™ Foundation Virtual
Why should I take the Facilitation Foundation virtual course?
On average we spend four hours in meetings a week and deem two thirds of this unnecessary. Topics discussed in unproductive meetings and workshops that fail to meet objectives often need to be revisited, further decreasing productivity
Facilitation is needed every day to enable groups to be more effective. It adds structure and process to allow groups to focus on goals. The Foundation level confirms that candidates have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Iceberg® Process Facilitation model to be able to contribute effectively to facilitated events.
Virtual classroom training allows you to benefit from real-time instruction from the comfort of your home or office. You benefit from the same interactions as an on-site class and will be able to ask the instructor questions. Since the exams are not done on paper during the course but online, you will also benefit with time to study and prepare until you are ready to obtain the certification.
Who should attend this virtual class?
The Facilitation course is for anyone who needs to work with groups at meetings, workshops or events, including current and future project, program and portfolio managers. This course is also relevant for those who wish to improve their skills in bringing out the best in others by learning tools and techniques to be able to better understand what people really mean and how to use the process to get the most out of a meeting.
This course is not often available in our public enrolment schedule. Teams in an organization wishing to gain skills in Facilitation and get certified can contact us for a private virtual class.
